Yes. Our products actually work with all skin types due to the ingredients in our formulas. Products are denoted with which skin types they're best suitable for within the 'Details' tab on their individual catalog pages.

No. Our products are specifically formulated to be safe AND beneficial for acne-prone skin types. Our products are acne safe, non-comedogenic AND non-acnegenic. However, since you may have an unknown sensitivity to some or all of the ingredients in our products, we recommend trying sample sizes first before committing to full-size products.

 

No. Acne cannot be cured; only controlled. Our products are not intended to cure, treat or prevent disease. They work synergistically with any professional skin care regimen that you may be currently using. If you have acne and are not being treated, we recommend consulting with a qualified licensed skin care professional/acne specialist.

All of our products are cruelty-free, gluten-free and vegan. We do not test on animals nor do we purchase ingredients from companies who engage in animal testing. PRIIA® is certified 100% Cruelty-Free/Vegan through PETA's 'Beauty without Bunnies' consumer awareness program.

No. We do not use bismuth oxychloride in any of our formulas due to the skin sensitivities it can cause in some individuals. We do not use Talc in our formulas due to the fact that it is known to cause clogged pores.

 

Yes and No. Our foundations contain both Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. These ingredients are considered physical broad spectrum UVA/UVB ray blockers by the FDA. However, our foundations have not been tested for a specific SPF rating. Therefore we do not make any drug claims and advise customers to wear a separate SPF product before applying their PRIIA® foundation(s). Please note that we do offer a Tinted SPF40 which is FDA approved for the use of sun protection.

 

Yes. We offer sample sizes for all of our cosmetics. Samples provide enough product to find your color match and to test for texture, finish, performance and any possible ingredient sensitivities.

We highly encourage customers to purchase samples BEFORE committing to purchase full-size products as we do not accept returns or exchanges.

 

Every product page lists the full ingredients for that specific product. We are 100% transparent with our ingredient decks. If you have specific questions about our ingredients, please review our ingredient glossary page or contact Customer Service at information@priia.com

 

We are proud to say that many pregnant and nursing customers use PRIIA® minerale-derm Cosmetics. We realize that each pregnancy is different and with that, we recommend you first discuss any product selections/usage with your doctor.

Orders, Shipping & Returns

PRIIA® Cosmetics is a small-batch manufacturer. All of our cosmetics (with the exception of sunscreen) are artisan-crafted by hand. We do not warehouse or stockpile our products. Therefore, we require a sufficient amount of time to process and create your order.

Orders require approximately 3 business days to be processed/fulfilled after being received into our system. We do not process/ship orders on weekends, holidays or company closures.

*During busy times of the year (i.e. holiday season, sales & promotions), order processing will exceed our normal timeframe.

When your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email including a tracking number for your shipment. Please use this information for an approximate delivery date.

*PRIIA® has no control over how long it takes a package to reach its final destination once it leaves our facility. Please be patient as sometimes carrier delivery delays do occur. Stated shipping (transit) times are approximate, not guaranteed.

*For domestic and international packages, PRIIA® Cosmetics is not responsible for unseen delays NOT caused by us such as: weather, failed delivery attempts, misplaced articles, theft, incorrect addresses, packages left by carriers without signature confirmation, holidays, internal carrier delays or any other possible situation that can cause delays beyond our control. We do not send out replacement orders or refund shipping charges simply because a package is taking longer to deliver than originally expected/anticipated.

 

We accept returns only on UNOPENED/UNUSED products within 30 days of the purchase date. All eligible returns must be in original salable condition with all safety seals intact.

The following items are NOT eligible for return:
-Opened/used products;
-Products where the safety seals have been tampered with;
-Samples;
-Brushes & Cosmetic Tools;
-Electronic gift cards;
-Sale items.

Return requests received more than 30 days from purchase date will not be accepted for any reason. In all circumstances, the approval of any return is at the complete discretion of PRIIA.

All eligible returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee. This fee will be deducted from the amount being refunded. Please note original shipping fees are non-refundable. Only PRIIA minerale-derm products purchased from PRIIA.com are eligible for return.

To initiate a return, please contact Customer Service at information@priia.com for your return authorization number and further instructions.

All eligible returns must have their approved return authorization number included with their return and all returns must meet our criteria stated above. Please note that PRIIA does not offer prepaid return shipping labels. Returns should be sent back to us using a trackable shipping service as we are not responsible for lost packages.

Once we receive and evaluate the return, applicable refunds will be issued within 3 to 5 business days and will be applied to the original method of payment.

PRIIA monitors return activity for abuse and reserves the right to limit returns in all instances.

*To avoid dealing with a return situation, please purchase sample sizes to test prior to committing to full-size products.

*DUE TO THE QUALITIES OF NATURAL COSMETICS AND THEIR RESPECTIVE INGREDIENTS, SOMETIMES THERE CAN BE SLIGHT VARIATIONS IN COLOR, VISCOSITY AND SCENT.  DURING SEASONAL CHANGES IN TEMPERATURE, SOME NATURAL CREME-BASED PRODUCTS MAY BECOME THICKER OR THINNER.  THIS IS NORMAL AND SHOULD BE EXPECTED WHEN PURCHASING NATURAL COSMETICS. ALL CREME-BASED PRODUCTS ON OUR WEB SITE ARE DENOTED WITH A 'MELT WARNING' NOTICE. THE CHANGES DESCRIBED HEREIN DO NOT CONSTITUTE AN EXCHANGE OR REPLACEMENT OF A PRODUCT.

Yes! PRIIA® is pleased to offer expedited shipping via FedEx Express. Expedited shipping refers only to transit time. It does NOT include our required order processing times of 3 to 5 business days.

If you would like your order rush processed through our facility, there's an applicable $15 fee to do so. You can choose the 'rush option' at checkout.

 

Yes. If you would like your order rush processed, please check the 'rush processing' box at checkout. The fee for rush processing is $15.00.

For same business-day shipping, rush processing request orders must be received into our system no later than 10am EST. Rush processing request orders received after 10am EST will ship the next business day we are open.

*Same business-day shipping is not available if PRIIA® is closed for any reason (i.e. holidays, company closures, inclement weather, etc.)

*If, for some reason, we are unable to provide rush processing for your order, we will refund the $15 fee.

*Faster order processing through our facility does not guarantee that your package will reach you faster.

 

DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS:
If you choose US Standard Shipping at checkout: Yes, your order can be shipped to a PO Box.

If you choose FedEx Express Shipping at checkout: No, we cannot ship direct to a PO BOX. A physical address must be provided to us.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:
CANADA- Yes, your order can be shipped to a PO Box.

We are unable to ship to APO and FPO addresses.

 

PRIIA® Cosmetics offers Standard International Ground Shipping to Canada only. We are unable to ship to any other international destinations at this time.

Once a package leaves the United States, PRIIA® Cosmetics has no control over the package any longer. Please be aware that an international mail package normally takes anywhere from 3-21 BUSINESS days to arrive once it leaves the United States. However, packages can take longer to reach their final destination due to issues beyond our control. PRIIA® Cosmetics is NOT responsible for the length of time it takes for your package to reach you for any reason.

*International customers are solely responsible for any additional fees, taxes, customs, duties and tariffs imposed by the carrier (FedEx) and country of destination for package deliveries. PRIIA® Cosmetics assumes no liability for the aforementioned.

 

If the customer enters incorrect shipping information at the time of order placement and does not advise PRIIA® to update their shipping information immediately after order placement, the customer is solely responsible for contacting the carrier (either USPS or FedEx) to change their delivery address or hold their package. Please call either your local post office or 1-800-GO-FEDEX. If a package with an incorrect shipping address has already been marked ‘delivered’ by the carrier, the customer must either wait the required 20 days from the date of shipment for PRIIA® to file a claim on the customer’s behalf or wait for the package to be returned to PRIIA®; whichever comes first.  PRIIA® does not automatically send replacement orders when a customer provides us with an incorrect shipping address when they place their order.

If the customer does not want the package re-shipped, we will assess a 25% Return/Restocking Fee. This fee along with any carrier return shipment fees we incur will be deducted from the total refund. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

 

Regretfully, no. Due to the electronic communication between our website and our inventory/order processing/shipping system, we are unable to make any product/quantity modifications (adding, changing and/or deleting products) to an order OR cancelling an order once it is placed on our site.

Please make sure your order is 100% correct and that all the information you provided to us is accurate.

 

Once an order has already shipped, it cannot be cancelled. Packages that are refused, unclaimed or have failed delivery will be returned by either USPS or FedEx to PRIIA® Cosmetics.

We will contact the customer via email to let them know we received their returned package. If the customer states they do not want the order any longer, or if we do not get a response from the customer within 3 business days, we will assess a 25% Return/Restocking Fee. This fee along with any return shipping fees we incur from the carrier will be deducted from the total refund amount issued. Original shipping fees are not refundable.

 

Although we do our very best to insure 100% order accuracy, we are human and sometimes mistakes can happen.

If you receive an incorrect item or there are items missing from your order please contact us within 24 hours of receipt of your package. We require a photo to be emailed to us of the incorrectly received item(s). Upon receipt of receiving the photo of the incorrect item(s), we will issue a corrected exchange at our expense. We do not offer refunds on original shipping amounts paid.

Depending upon the situation, PRIIA may request you to return the incorrect item(s). If that is the case, we will provide you with a prepaid return shipping label. *Incorrect item(s) being returned MUST be in original saleable condition, unopened and all safety seals MUST be in tact.

 

If your items are received damaged, please contact Customer Service immediately at: information@priia.com to report damages.

Save ALL original packing materials (i.e. box, packing peanuts, paper, etc.) along with your damaged item(s). If you fail to notify Customer Service within 5 days of receipt of damaged/opened merchandise, there is no guarantee that a claim will be processed. No claims will be processed if the customer has disposed of any of the aforementioned items and/or after 30 days of receipt of merchandise.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE REQUIRE PHOTOS OR A VIDEO OF THE DAMAGED MERCHANDISE AND DAMAGED SHIPPING MATERIALS. IF THE CUSTOMER IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE US WITH THIS REQUIRED INFORMATION, PRIIA WILL NOT PROCEED WITH A CLAIM AND WILL CONSIDER THE MATTER CLOSED. (we do not offer refunds).

Sometimes carriers have delivery delays, especially during busy times of the year (i.e. holidays). Please be patient and continue to track your package using the tracking number provided to you. We do not refund shipping charges or send replacement orders for stolen packages or simply because a package is taking longer to deliver than originally expected.

 

If you have a concern regarding a misdelivery, depending upon the shipping method you chose at checkout, please contact either your local post office OR FedEx Customer Service immediately by calling:1-800-463-3339. The carrier will reference the information that is on file via your tracking number. If mis-delivered, the carrier will try to retrieve your package and redeliver it.

If the carrier determines that they cannot locate and redeliver your package, then please contact Customer Service at: information@priia.com  for further assistance.

If you have proof that your package was stolen such as a video recording or photo, please report the crime to your local law enforcement for further investigation.

If you happen to reside in an area where there's an increased chance of package theft, we suggest either purchasing signature confirmation at the time of order placement OR having your packages shipped to a personal PO Box or approved FedEx/FedEx Office location.

 

PRIIA® Mineral Makeup FAQ

The best way to find your perfect foundation match is to follow our guide below.

 

No. PRIIA's mineral makeup will not dry out the skin's protective barrier. Our mineral makeup is actually formulated to help prevent TEWL (trans-epidermal water loss). Before applying any foundation, your skin should be properly prepped with skin type/skin condition specific skin care products.

 

The biggest culprit for causing an uneven and blotchy makeup appearance is using too much moisturizer and/or not letting your skin care products fully absorb before applying your foundation.

When there's excess skin care product (i.e. moisturizer, SPF, etc.) on the surface of the skin, the minerals will grab onto it making your foundation look uneven and patchy.

Be sure to work your skin care products completely into your skin. Don't just slather them on one after the other. After you've properly applied your skin care products wait until they've fully absorbed before you apply your foundation.

 

If you have large pores, fine lines and/or textured skin, we suggest using one of our primers before foundation application. Our primers help to give the skin an even and smooth surface which greatly improves the overall look of your foundation application.

 

If your foundation looks 'cakey' after application, then you've used too much product to start. Our mineral foundations are customizable and buildable so start off with less than what you think you'll need. You can always add another layer or two until you reach you're desired coverage.

 

If you typically experience oily shine throughout the day, use our Foundation Primer before foundation application and then set your makeup with our HydraControl™ HD Powder. Reapply as necessary.

 

PRIIA's Signature Loose Mineral Foundation 'Stamp & Blend' Technique

1. Dip your brush head into the lid to pick up some powder, tap off any excess minerals back into the lid. Now you're ready to apply.

2. Starting at the outside edges of your face working in a clockwise manner, gently 'stamp' the brush on your skin and then go back and blend down and outwards in one direction.

3. Go back and repeat this process working toward the inside of the face until you reach your desired coverage amount. Blend well into the hairline and down onto the neck and decollete`area. There's no need for rigorous buffing- just gentle down and outward blending is all you have to do with PRIIA®.

 

We offer two different types of foundation- a loose powder foundation and a liqui-creme foundation. Both are suitable for all skin types and they can be used together or on their own. Also, both foundation types allow for completely customizable coverage.

  • Apply our Loose Mineral Foundation in several layers using our Jumbo Flat Top brush.
  • Apply our Velvet Mineral Foundation in several layers using our Foundation Blurring brush.
  • Apply our Loose Mineral Foundation in several layers using a dampened Jumbo Flat Top Brush. Use our Setting Essence Spray to dampen your brush.
  • Apply a layer of Velvet Mineral Foundation and then a layer of Loose Mineral Foundation over top.
